Authenticated arbitrary file upload via hidwel branch
Published Feb 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Byzoro Smart S42 Management Platform 20240219 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary files. The userattestation.php endpoint enters a hidwel-controlled branch whose upload handling does not restrict the submitted file extension. A high-privilege authenticated PHP session is required, and public evidence does not establish whether uploaded files are executable.
