Out-of-bounds write in Robot Web Services in ABB RobotWare 6 and 7 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. The service processes a specially crafted controller message without sufficient bounds validation, writing outside the intended buffer; ABB has not disclosed the exact parser. Network access and valid system credentials are required, and successful exploitation can also stop the robot or make its controller inaccessible.
