Contributor-level object injection via unsafe shortcode deserialization
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
PHP object injection in A WP Life Grid Gallery 1.4.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject objects through a shortcode. The shortcode path deserializes the awl_gg_settings_ post-meta value without validating its serialized contents before object creation. Contributor access is required; file deletion, sensitive-data retrieval, or code execution also requires a POP chain from another installed plugin or theme.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
