CVE-2024-1884Network attack vector

Unauthenticated HTTP request proxying via undisclosed input

Published Mar 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2024

SSRF in affected PaperCut NG and MF releases allows remote attackers to send HTTP requests through the Application Server. The server-side module accepts an attacker-chosen destination and issues the request without restricting it to an expected domain; PaperCut has not disclosed the endpoint or parameter. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the resulting request appears to originate from the server and can mask the attacker’s identity.
