Authenticated SQL injection via myprofile.php id parameter
Published Feb 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Employee Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries via the id parameter. The myprofile.php handler uses the id value in an SQL query without neutralizing SQL operators, so input such as 1 or 1=1 changes the query predicate. A valid low-privilege session is required; exploitation exposes database reads or writes reachable through the affected query.
