CVE-2024-1873Network attack vector

Data loss and service interruption via absolute paths

Published Jun 6, 2024 · Updated Oct 15, 2025

Path traversal in ParisNeo LoLLMs WebUI before 9.3 allows remote attackers to redirect discussion storage via /select_database. The endpoint passes an attacker-supplied absolute path to DiscussionsDB, which creates directories outside the intended data area and switches the active database location. No authentication or user interaction is required; crafted paths can scatter client data or block startup by occupying paths needed for critical files.
