Memory corruption in Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS eDrawings allows attackers to execute code through crafted CAD files. The file-reading procedure insufficiently validates attacker-controlled structures in CATPART, IPT, JT, SAT, STL, STP, X_B, and X_T inputs, triggering buffer overflows, out-of-bounds access, type confusion, uninitialized-memory use, or use-after-free. Exploitation requires a user to open a malicious file and runs code in the current process context.
