Unauthenticated database access via email SQL injection
Published Feb 23, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in Code Projects Library System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter application data through a crafted reset email. Source/librarian/user/student/lost-password.php processes the email parameter without neutralizing SQL syntax before database use. The password-reset endpoint is network reachable without authentication, and injected queries operate with the application database account's access.
