PHP object injection via unsafe job-field deserialization
Published Apr 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
PHP object injection in PressTigers Simple Job Board 2.11.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject objects through job applications. The job_board_applicant_list_columns_value function passes attacker-controlled application-field data to PHP object deserialization without validating its contents. A submitted application must be viewed, and arbitrary file deletion, data retrieval, or code execution also requires a usable POP chain from another installed plugin or theme.
