Arbitrary file read via unchecked layout path
Published Apr 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Path traversal in Connekt Media Ajax Load More 7.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary Windows files. The alm_get_layout function incorporates the type parameter into a layout pathname passed to file_get_contents without rejecting Windows traversal sequences. Administrator-level WordPress access and a valid nonce are required, and the consequence is limited to file disclosure on Windows hosts.
