Unauthenticated stored XSS via User-Agent logging
Published May 22, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster 4.4.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via User-Agent headers. The WP-Cron event logger stores the HTTP_USER_AGENT value without sufficient sanitization, and the All Cron Events view renders it without adequate output escaping. The script fires only when an authenticated user opens that administrative view, placing execution in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
