Stored XSS via unescaped custom-font setting
Published Apr 8, 2024 · Updated Oct 27, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Font Farsi 1.6.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through admin settings. The custom-font settings page stores its first field without sufficient sanitization and later renders the value without escaping. Administrator-level access is required, and exposure is limited to installations where unfiltered_html is disabled, such as WordPress multisite.
