Stored XSS via unescaped Parent Class setting
Published Apr 15, 2024 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
Stored XSS in RadiusTheme Testimonial Slider before 2.3.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through shortcode settings. The Styling panel saves the Parent Class value without adequate sanitization or escaping and renders its quote-breaking event-handler markup in shortcode output. The attack requires an administrator lacking unfiltered_html and a visitor who previews or views the generated page; the payload then runs in that visitor's browser.
