Stored XSS via unescaped Slides Per View
Published Apr 15, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2024
Stored XSS in Sayful Islam Carousel Slider before 2.2.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via slider settings. The Slides Per View field accepts an attribute-breaking payload that is stored with the slider and emitted into a page without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. An Editor or Administrator must save the payload, and script execution occurs when a user views or interacts with the embedded slider.
