Sensitive database disclosure via unprepared id query
Published Mar 20, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in Mediavine Create 1.9.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to extract sensitive database data via a crafted id parameter. The request handler insufficiently escapes the user-supplied id value and concatenates it into an existing SQL query instead of preparing the query. No authentication is required, and injected query fragments can read sensitive WordPress database information.
