Authenticated object injection via attachmentUrl deserialization
Published Mar 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
PHP object injection in Sygnoos Social Media Share Buttons 2.1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject objects. The SgmbButton code passes attacker-controlled attachmentUrl data into PHP deserialization, which constructs an object from the supplied value. Subscriber-level access is required, and file deletion, sensitive-data retrieval, or code execution also requires a usable POP chain from another installed plugin or theme.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
