Unauthenticated service disruption via host-based endpoint checks
Published Apr 16, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Authentication bypass in ParisNeo LoLLMs WebUI before 9.3 allows remote attackers to interrupt service and alter recordings. Sensitive route handlers treat any configured host other than 0.0.0.0 as proof that requests are local, so they execute restart, update, and recording controls without authentication. Exposure requires the server to be bound to a specific remotely reachable interface; resulting actions can restart the application or stop and overwrite recordings.
