Unauthorized organization membership via unchecked organization ID
Published Apr 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Authorization bypass in Lunary before 1.2.2 allows remote attackers to join an organization and read or modify all of its data. The organization-join path accepts a supplied organization ID and adds the requester without verifying permission to join that organization. Knowledge of a target organization ID is the only reported gate; successful membership exposes all organization data to reading and modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
