Post deletion via missing nonce validation
Published Mar 13, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in MainWP Dashboard 4.6.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary posts through a forged administrator request. The posting_bulk handler processes state-changing bulk deletion requests without validating the request nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to follow or activate attacker-controlled content, and the demonstrated consequence is post deletion.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
