Protected-post disclosure via unchecked post duplication
Published Apr 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in PickPlugins Accordions 2.2.96 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to duplicate arbitrary posts. The accordions_duplicate_post_as_draft function creates a draft copy from a requested post identifier without checking the caller's capability for that post. Contributor-level access is sufficient to copy password-protected posts and read their contents, while no service interruption is reported.
