CVE-2024-1629

Local file disclosure via deleteFiles path traversal

Published May 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Path traversal in Common Service Desktop on affected GE HealthCare ultrasound systems allows local users to read restricted files. The deleteFiles function accepts attacker-controlled traversal paths without confining resolution to its intended directory. Exploitation requires local appliance access; published evidence reports confidentiality impact only and does not identify the exposed file types.
