CVE-2024-1625Network attack vector

Cross-tenant project deletion via unchecked project ID

Published Apr 10, 2024 · Updated Jan 30, 2025

Authorization bypass in Lunary before 1.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to delete projects belonging to other organizations. The projects.delete route accepts a caller-supplied project ID and deletes the matching record without verifying that it belongs to the caller's organization. A signed-in user who obtains another tenant's project ID can remove that project, causing cross-tenant data loss without broader read access.
