Account impersonation via dropped card-number characters

Firmware input handling in MiCard PLUS Ci 0.1.0.7 and MiCard PLUS BLE 0.1.0.4 allows physically proximate attackers to assume another identity. The reader firmware randomly drops characters from some scanned ID-card numbers, allowing a truncated value to collide with an identity previously stored during self-registration. Exploitation requires ID-card self-registration plus relatively short, low-complexity card numbers, and grants access to the matched user's account, secure print jobs, and scan profiles.
