Authenticated internal-service access via unrestricted HTML check
Published Feb 28, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Server-side request forgery in Seraphinite Accelerator 2.20.52 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access internal services. OnAdminApi_HtmlCheck passes a subscriber-controlled URL into a server-side HTML request without restricting its destination to the WordPress site. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the request can query or modify data exposed by reachable internal services.
