Memory safety flaws in Firefox before 123, Firefox ESR before 115.8, and Thunderbird before 115.8 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. Mozilla links the CVE to multiple memory-safety defects that corrupt memory, but the public advisory does not identify one shared function or erroneous operation. Network-delivered content can reach affected browser code without authentication; ordinary email reading in Thunderbird disables scripting and limits that route.
