Stored XSS via unescaped Data Table attributes
Published Mar 13, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Essential Addons for Elementor 5.9.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through Data Table attributes. The Data Table renderer places user-supplied widget attributes into page output without sufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and the stored script runs whenever a user opens the affected page, enabling actions in that user's browser context.
