Unauthenticated command execution via shell-enabled folder opening
Published Apr 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
OS command injection in ParisNeo LoLLMs WebUI before 9.1 allows remote attackers to execute commands through /open_code_folder. On Windows, open_code_folder appends the unvalidated discussion_id to a directory path and passes that path to subprocess.run with shell=True. No authentication or user interaction is required, and injected commands run with the WebUI process's privileges, exposing its host data and services.
