Browser script execution via reflected administrative input
Published Feb 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected XSS in the Server Manager of Progress WS_FTP Server 8.8.0 through 8.8.4 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser. The administrative interface returns various user-supplied inputs in generated pages without neutralizing them, but Progress has not identified the affected parameters or handlers. Exploitation requires a user to follow a crafted request, and script execution carries that user's interface privileges.
