CVE-2024-1432Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Code execution via unsafe XSeg model deserialization

Published Feb 11, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Deserialization in DeepFaceLab pretrained DF.wf.288res.384.92.72.22 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted XSeg_data.dat file. The apply_xseg function reads that file and passes its bytes directly to pickle.loads without validating the serialized object graph. Exploitation requires a user to obtain an attacker-supplied model and run XSeg apply; the resulting code executes with that user's privileges.
