Sensitive information exposure in Pippin Williamson CGC Maintenance Mode 1.2 and earlier lets remote attackers read protected posts via REST. The plugin fails to apply its maintenance-mode access restriction to WordPress REST API post responses; no more specific code locus has been published. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient, and the disclosed impact is limited to reading posts that maintenance mode was intended to protect.
