Administrator-assisted data changes via missing nonce validation
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in ThemeHunk Lead Form Builder & Contact Form 1.8.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter site data. AJAX handlers in ajax-functions.php and the upload path in lf-install.php perform state-changing operations without a verified WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires an administrator to act on a forged request; successful requests can delete forms, create lead signups, or upload files.
