Stored XSS via unescaped Call To Action settings
Published Mar 13, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in the Call To Action widget in Exclusive Addons for Elementor 2.6.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The widget accepts contributor-controlled content, stores it with insufficient input sanitization, and emits it without sufficient output escaping. Contributor-level access and a later page visit are required; the injected JavaScript then executes in the visitor's browser context.
