Authenticated command execution via unvalidated NRDP parameters
Published Oct 30, 2025 · Updated Oct 30, 2025
Command injection in Nagios XI before 2024R1.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through NRDP server plugins. The NRDP server plugins fail to validate inbound request parameters before passing them into command execution paths on the host. Low-privileged network access to NRDP is required, and successful exploitation runs commands with the web or Nagios service account's permissions.
