Unauthenticated command execution via forged JSF ViewState
Published Aug 27, 2025 · Updated May 15, 2026
Deserialization in H3C Intelligent Management Center E0632H07 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands via forged JSF ViewState data. The /byod/index.xhtml endpoint accepts attacker-supplied javax.faces.ViewState data and deserializes it without establishing that the serialized object is trusted. No authentication or session cookie is required, and successful deserialization runs arbitrary commands on the management server.
