CVE-2024-13975

Access-node compromise via undisclosed privilege flaw

Published Jul 25, 2025 · Updated Nov 22, 2025

Local privilege escalation in Commvault for Windows 11.20.0, 11.28.0, 11.32.0, 11.34.0, and 11.36.0 allows local users to compromise access nodes. Commvault has not published the faulty function or operation that mishandles privileges between a file server client and its assigned Windows access nodes. Exploitation requires ownership of a client with the file server agent installed, and only access nodes assigned to that agent are exposed; remote attack is not possible.
