Unauthenticated file read and SSRF via XXE
Published Apr 30, 2026 · Updated Apr 30, 2026
XML external entity injection in Lobster DATA GmbH Lobster_pro before 4.12.6-GA allows remote attackers to read server files. The unauthenticated /system/web endpoint parses POSTed XML while resolving external entities and returns resolved file or directory content in error responses. Network access to HTTPS port 443 is sufficient to trigger server-side HTTP requests, reach adjacent SMB shares, and expose the service account's NTLM hash.
