Unauthenticated configuration access via session fixation
Published Jun 4, 2025 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Session fixation in ABB EIBPORT V3 KNX and V3 KNX GSM 3.9.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to access configuration pages. The integrated web server fails to securely verify login credentials and session identifiers, allowing an unauthenticated session to be accepted as authorized. Exploitation requires network access and active user interaction, and successful access exposes sensitive device data and permits configuration changes.
