Local configuration disclosure via permissive toolset ACLs
Published May 22, 2025 · Updated May 22, 2025
Incorrect default permissions in ABB ASPECT products 3.08.03 and earlier allow local users to read configuration information. The Windows ACLs protecting ASPECT configuration toolsets grant low-privileged accounts access to configuration data; ABB has not disclosed the affected paths or permission entries. A local low-privileged account is required, and the reported consequence is configuration disclosure with limited configuration modification but no service interruption.
