Stored XSS via unescaped icon alignment attribute
Published Mar 13, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in WPVibes Addon Elements for Elementor 1.12.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in visitors' browsers. The Content Switcher skin-3.php template places the icon_align widget attribute into rendered markup without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is required to save the crafted attribute, and the script executes when a user opens the injected page.
