Reflected XSS via unescaped debug route parameters
Published Mar 10, 2025 · Updated Mar 10, 2025
Reflected XSS in Laravel Framework 11.9.0 through 11.35.1 allows remote attackers to execute script via crafted route parameters. The debug error-page template renders routeParametersContext through Blade's raw-output delimiters, so attacker-controlled path values enter HTML unescaped. Exploitation requires APP_DEBUG=true, an error-producing parameterized route, and a user who opens the crafted link; script runs in the application's origin.
