Stored script execution via unsanitized counter content
Published Mar 1, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
DOM-based stored XSS in Wow-Company Counter Box 2.0.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via content. The administrative builder places stored content parameter values into the page DOM without sanitization or output escaping. Administrator-level access is required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled; scripts run when a user opens an injected page.
