CVE-2024-13899Network attack vector

Administrator-level object injection via unsafe deserialization

Published Feb 22, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

PHP object injection in Mambo Importer 1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject objects through imported menu data. The fImportMenu function deserializes the attacker-controlled $data parameter without validating the resulting object graph. Administrator access is required, and file deletion, data retrieval, or code execution depends on another installed plugin or theme supplying a usable POP chain.
