CVE-2024-13893

Telnet access via shared device credentials

Published Mar 6, 2025 · Updated Mar 6, 2025

Default credentials in Smartwares CIP-37210AT and C724IP firmware 3.3.0 and earlier allow attackers to access an enabled Telnet service. The cameras reuse the same Telnet credentials, and physical access to SPI-connected memory reveals the password hash. Telnet activates only when an inserted SD card contains a folder with a specific name; affected credential-sharing groups remain undisclosed.
