CVE-2024-13892

Arbitrary command execution via unsanitized AP credentials

Published Mar 6, 2025 · Updated Oct 3, 2025

Command injection in Smartwares CIP-37210AT and C724IP firmware through 3.3.0 allows attackers to execute commands via crafted AP credentials. During initialization, the camera uses mobile-app-supplied Access Point credential input without properly sanitizing command elements before processing it. Exploitation requires control of a credential value during device provisioning and results in attacker-chosen command execution on the camera.
