Administrator script execution via unescaped orderby parameter
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
Reflected XSS in Dropstr Inc My Quota 1.0.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser via a crafted URL. The plugin's My Quota administration page inserts the orderby query parameter into markup without sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires an administrator to open a crafted wp-admin URL; the injected script then runs with that user's browser privileges and can act on data available in the administrative session.
