Admin-session script execution via unescaped code parameter
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Reflected XSS in S3Bubble S3Player 4.2.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The includes/amp-iframe.php endpoint inserts the code query parameter into its HTML response without sanitization or context-appropriate output escaping. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open an attacker-supplied URL; the script then runs in the site's origin with that browser session.
