Administrator-level stored XSS via insufficient output escaping
Published Feb 28, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Evigeo Modal Portfolio 1.7.4.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into portfolio pages. Wordfence attributes the flaw to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping but does not identify the affected field, function, or rendering path. Administrator access is required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites with unfiltered_html disabled; injected scripts execute when a user opens the affected page.
