Contributor-level post disclosure via unchecked template ID
Published Feb 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Information disclosure in Builder Shortcode Extras 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read restricted Elementor posts. The bse-elementor-template shortcode passes its caller-controlled id attribute to Elementor's get_builder_content_for_display method without checking post status or access rights. Contributor-level access is sufficient to render content from private and draft Elementor posts; no modification or service interruption is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
