PHP object injection via gallery metadata deserialization
Published Mar 1, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
PHP object injection in A WP Life Album Gallery 1.6.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject objects through gallery metadata. The gallery metadata path deserializes attacker-controlled values without restricting object creation. Editor-level access is required, and file deletion, sensitive-data disclosure, or code execution additionally requires a usable POP chain from another installed plugin or theme.
