Reflected XSS via unescaped contest parameter
Published Feb 24, 2025 · Updated Feb 24, 2025
Reflected XSS in TotalSuite TotalContest Lite 2.8.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The contest query parameter on the wp-admin contest-submission listing is returned to the page without sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires a high-privilege user to open a crafted administrative URL, and the injected script runs in that user's session.
